- School NameCommunications Department
When students report for the first day of the school year at Field Elementary, they will be greeted by a familiar face. That’s because the new principal, Latisha Thomas, was the Student Support Coordinator in the building last year and has been a teacher at Field in years past.
Thomas is an experienced educator who has spent most of her career working for Plymouth-Canton Community Schools and at University Preparatory in Detroit, where she was the Dean of Culture, an Instructional Coach and teacher. She also has held positions at the Center for Responsive Schools in Turner Falls, Mass. and as an adjunct faculty member at Madonna University.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree (Early Education) from Cleveland State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University.
Please join us in congratulating Latisha on her new role.
