Ray MillerAt Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Board meetings, you will often hear administrators proclaiming that “we are hiring champions.” That statement was true in 2017 when the district hired Raymond Miller as a math teacher and it’s still true as he was recently promoted to Assistant Principal for Activities and Athletics at Plymouth High School.

Miller has been a teacher and coach since 2015, but he has accomplished a great deal in that time. He started his career at Trenton Public Schools as a teacher and coach, but he also coached travel lacrosse for Total Sport Performance and his teams earned several championships and awards. In his two years at P-CCS he earned the 2019 Michigan US Lacrosse Boys Coach of the Year Award, was one of four Plymouth High School Coaches of the Year and also earned the P-CCS Board of Education’s Mary Beth Carroll Extra Miler Award. In addition to all of this, he is an outstanding teacher of Geometry, Problem Solving and Algebra 3 with Trigonometry.

Miller holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education and a Master’s Degree in K-12 Educational Administration from Michigan State University.

Please join us in congratulating Raymond Miller on his new role at P-CCS.
