About Andy Pilgrim
Andy Pilgrim was born in the UK and came to the US in the early 1980’s as a computer programmer. He became a US citizen in 1998.
Andy has been a professional race driver for 30 years and for 2017 is racing a Porsche GT3 and GT4 in the International Creventic Championship. Andy has won 5 Championships and 65 races so far in his professional driving career.
Andy has over 22 years of experience talking to students, parents, and educators about traffic safety and distracted driving. In 2008, he started The Traffic Safety Education Foundation.
He has released numerous educational videos over the last 5 years, including The Driving Zone 2, The Parent Driving Zone, Realities of Driving Today and 3 PSA’s. Thousands of driver education teachers are using these videos in their classrooms. Numerous parents and grandparents are also using the videos to help their families be safer.
The majority of parents don’t understand; they will be the biggest influence on how their children drive. From the moment they turn the child safety seat around to face front, children are learning and will use their parent’s driving habits and behaviors.
