88.1 The Park will partner with local police departments this fall to give the community a chance to understand how local law enforcement works.

Officers have agreed to answer the community’s questions on policing and law enforcement on air as a part of 88.1 The Park’s new “On the Beat” program. The show will air September 25th.

“We are really proud and excited to work with local law enforcement and give residents an opportunity to have their questions answered.” said Saba Mangla, Public Affairs Director for 88.1 The Park. “We thank the departments for their willingness to be a part of this exciting new program.”

88.1 The Park is calling for community members to submit questions that will be answered during the first few editions of the program. Questions can cover topics ranging from local ordinances to the daily responsibilities of law enforcement personnel.

To submit a question, send an email to 881ThePark@gmail.com. Questions can be general or specific to a police department. Please submit questions by September 18.

88.1The Park is a local radio station that invests in the lives of students and serves the Plymouth-Canton Community. The station is owned and operated by the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.
