When do I register?

Registration-up to October 18th----------------------------→→→→→→→→→→→Placement Test-October 25th

How do I register?

You may register in-person @ Starkweather, Mon-Fri 8 a.m.-3 p.m.. now until October 18th at Starkweather Academy

Where is the placement test?

The placement test will be at Starkweather Academy on October 25th 9 a.m. or  4:30-6:30 p.m. at Starkweather Academy

What is the placement test?

The placement test is an online or paper/pencil test.  It will test your listening and reading skills.

Why do I have to take the placement test?

The placement test allows us to determine your best level to further support your learning.

How do I select my class?

After you take the placement test, your level will be provided and at that time, you may select your class.

What days will I have class?

You will have class 2 days a week with additional days for tutor support.

When is the first day of class?

First day of class is November 5th.

How much will the program cost?

You will pay $25 (cash, exact amount or check payable to PCCS) deposit for registration only.  If you complete the program, your $25 can be refunded to you upon request.

What if I am a current student?

If you are a current student, you will be required to complete the registration form and pay the $25 deposit.

If I am a current student, do I have to take the placement test?

If you took the post test in May we can use that score.

What materials will I receive?

All students will receive any textbook and course related materials.

How many hours am I required to attend class?

You are required to complete 40 hours per semester and attendance is mandatory and will be taken daily.

 

(ESL Testing takes approximately 2 hours to complete)

ESL Registration Information:

Specific course schedule will be based upon test scores and class availability. 

We will maintain a waiting list if there are cancellations, but applicants must test to remain on the waiting list.

  • Only students who are registered in advance may test.
  • During periods of open registration prospective students can come to the office at Starkweather to fill out registration forms and information. 
  • A$25 REFUNDABLE fee is required to reserve your place in the class.
  • Please note:  Deposits must be cash (exact amount) or certified checkNo personal checks will be accepted.
