ABSENCE - If your student is going to be absent or late for school, we ask that you telephone the Liberty’s Main office before 9:00 AM to let us know. To reach the Liberty attendance line, please call 734.416.7600, then press #2. Please provide your student’s name, grade, and reason for absence. If you know your student will be absent for an extended period of time (ex: vacation, medical reasons), please let the office as well as his/her teachers know. Remember - if your child's teacher uses Moodle, you can get homework information at that site.

FORGOTTEN LUNCHES, HOMEWORK, ETC. - We respect the instruction time of our students and teachers, so when items are brought into the office for a student, the student’s name will be put on the monitor. It is then the student's responsibility to come to the office to pick up the items.
HOMEWORK REQUESTS - Homework requests will be honored after your student has been absent for three consecutive days. Please call the office at 734.416.7600, then press #4, to make a request. Contact the office after 2:30pm to be sure your homework request has been filled.
LEAVING EARLY FOR AN APPOINTMENT - If your student is going to leave school early for an appointment, we ask that you send in a note with your child and have him/her come to the office before homeroom for a pass. At that time a pass will be issued to dismiss them at the time needed. Before exiting the building, he/she and the person taking the student, must come to the office and show picture ID to sign the student out. If the student returns, they must sign back in the office.
LUNCH MENUS - The lunch menus and pricing information for all schools may be found on the Food and Nutrition page. Information/forms regarding free and reduced lunch are also available at this site.
- Lunch Payment Options - All students can pay cash for their meals. Students may pre-pay for meals by bringing payment to the school cafeteria manager or the office.
- Middle school students need to know their student ID number or use their ID cards. Any dollar amount is accepted. Make checks payable to: “P-CCS – Cafeteria Account"
PARENT PICK-UP OF STUDENTS DURING SCHOOL TIME - Parents must come into the building and sign their student out when leaving school during school hours. If your student returns to school after an appointment or arrives late to school, he/she must come to the office and sign in.
PARENT PICK-UP OF STUDENT AT A SCHOOL ACTIVITY- School personnel stay with students who are not picked up in a timely fashion from school-sponsored activities, with that note, please pick up from after-school activities within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the event. Students who are not picked up within the 15 minute limit will be excluded from the next activity at their school.
VACATIONS/HOLIDAYS - If you are planning a vacation during scheduled school days, we ask that you fill out a Student Absence: Family Vacation / Holiday During Scheduled School Hours form. Students will need to have each teacher sign the form and turn into the office. To download the vacation form please click here.
VISITORS TO THE BUILDING- All visitors, including parents, are asked to come to the office to sign in and receive a visitor’s pass.
