West Middle School Back to School Information


Generally office hours are from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the summer.  Please contact the office to schedule an appointment to register by calling 734-416-7598 or e-mail the school secretary at nancy.rapson@pccsk12.com.  The office will be closed from time to time in the summer and therefore it is best to call prior to coming to West.  Email and voice mail messages will be reviewed periodically. 


Tuesday, September 4, 2018, will be a half day (8:04 am - 11:04 am).  The start and end times for the 2018/2019 school year will be 8:04 am to 2:58 pm for full days and 8:04 am to 11:04 am for half days.  

 WMS OPEN HOUSE (Curriculum Night)

West Middle School Open House will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2017, from 6:00 - 7:35 PM. Students will be given a copy of their schedule along with a schedule for the evening during their sixth hour class.  The Open House program is intended for adults and is not appropriate for children. 


Back to School Information will be sent via email starting with the 2018/2019 school year.

If you are unable to pick-up your schedule on the day indicated above, you will be able to complete all of the schedule pick-up activities on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. If you are unable to pick up at any of these days, we ask that you contact West Middle School at (734) 416-7598 to make pick-up arrangements. Unfortunately, we are unable to release your schedule to anyone else.  If you have multiple students in your family who will attend West, please feel free to select one date and time for all of your children.

There will be a new procedure this year and more details will be sent in the back to school email.  In order to pick up schedules, all parents/guardians will be required to log into MiStar and re-register their student.   In addition to picking up schedules, students will have pictures taken, receive locker assignment, computer login/password information, Student Assignment Books (for incoming 6th graders), and be able to purchase yearbooks ($30.00) and spirit wear (if desired).
