Thank you for your interest in Plymouth-Canton Community Schools!
The Plymouth-Canton Community School District opened up a minimum of one seat for Kindergarten through 8th grade with a maximum of 250 total seats for the 2017-18 school year. The program also included an opportunity for 9th and 10th grade applicants for the P-CEP International Baccalaureate Programme for 2017-18, with a minimum of one seat to be filled based on availability.
Openings for this 105c School of Choice Program are for student applicants who live in: Wayne County, Macomb County, Monroe County, Oakland County, or Washtenaw County, and are not residents of the Plymouth-Canton School District.
The School of Choice online application window was opened from April 3rd until 4 pm on May 2nd. The application window is now closed. The actual number of School of Choice students enrolled into P-CCS from outside of the District will depend on availability. Like previous School of Choice programs, this addition will not impact class size and will not displace any current P-CCS students.
Families applying to the Plymouth-Canton Community School District under the School of Choice option are applying to the District and are not given the option to select a particular school. An application must be completed for each child you would like considered for School of Choice.
Applicants that are siblings of current P-CCS School of Choice students will be given sibling preference according to state law, as long as the sibling applicant is in Kindergarten through 8th grade or is applying for the International Baccalaureate Programme for 9th or 10th grade.
• Once accepted to Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, students will continue to be enrolled until they graduate from high school or move out of the eligible counties.
• There is no extra cost for this program.
• School of Choice students must provide their own transportation to school.
