Our highly qualified teaching staff, with extensive experience and advanced degrees, ensures that students excel in core subjects like Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. P-CCS students consistently outperform national and state averages, reflecting our commitment to high-quality education. Programs such as Advanced Placement (AP) and Talented and Gifted (TAG) serve over 2,000 high school students and 650 elementary and middle school students, while a 1:1 technology initiative fosters digital literacy and innovation across all grade levels.

P-CCS offers specialized academies and programs in Arts, STEM, Career and Technical Education, Early Middle College, Business, and International Studies, designed to inspire and challenge students in areas of interest. Recognition & Achievements

Our district takes pride in its students, staff, and programs that continually earn local, state, and national recognition. Recent accolades include Gallimore Elementary being named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School, and Canton High School earning a place on the College Board AP Honor Roll. Students have achieved national championships in robotics, culinary arts, and broadcasting, while our student radio station, 88.1 the Park, has won multiple awards. Superintendent Dr. Monica L. Merritt was also honored as Michigan’s 2023 Superintendent of the Year. These achievements reflect the dedication, talent, and excellence of our entire learning community.

It was under their great leadership that I had teachers who taught curriculums that allowed me to be engaged and connected as well as thrive academically and now follow my dream to become a board-certified trauma surgeon."
