We have learned that some students in our community are planning a biking event to gather this afternoon on one of our school campuses. We understand this activity may be well-intentioned by our students; however, due to Governor Whitmer’s ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ executive order yesterday, we are asking families to make sure their students do not participate in this gathering to adhere to the order.

We completely understand that this is an unprecedented and challenging time for our students, and their need for social time with friends is stronger than ever before. As part of the order, Governor Whitmer has encouraged the ability for families and individuals to get outside, take walks, etc., but the order does not allow for large gatherings to take place on our campuses at this time. In keeping student safety and well being at the forefront of all we do at P-CCS, our campuses will remain closed throughout the duration of the state-mandated school closure period.

P-CCS community, let’s all work together to ‘Stay Home and Stay Safe’ during this time. Please continue to have a safe and healthy week, and take care of yourselves and each other.
