Five year common calendar from Wayne County RESA

The Wayne County five year common calendar was developed in cooperation with the 33 Wayne County school districts and with input from the public school academies in Wayne County.

The common calendar was adopted by the Wayne RESA Board of Education February 20, 2008 in accordance in Public Act 101. In addition to the two legislated winter and spring breaks, Wayne County districts requested the identification of two common professional development dates and midwinter break time. Accordingly, those dates were designated. Local districts may add additional days to the calendar but must observe the dates adopted within the Wayne County common calendar, which took affect beginning 2008-2009.
