Curriculum Information
P-CCS is pleased to announce that the K-8 curriculum is now available to view online. It is our goal to continually add additional courses and levels as they are available. We want to provide parents with an open resource that illustrates the excellent work that is happening within our classrooms. Within Atlas Rubicon, parents will be able to see a unit calendar and within each unit the standards, Big Ideas, and Essential Questions.

Family Curriculum Handbooks
The purpose of the Curriculum Handbooks is to provide families with an overview of the grade-level curriculum. Additionally, families often ask how they can help their child, therefore, we have included ideas to support your child within each content area.
Staff Professional Development:
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools is excited to offer professional development opportunities for educators to earn required State Continuing Education Credit Hours (SCECHs) as a part of the Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS).
P-CCS staff professional development details for the 2024-25 school year can be found HERE.

Are you interested in becoming a member of the district’s Sex Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)?
There are vacancies for parent representatives to serve on the SEAC committee at this time. The SEAC meets between one and four times during the school year, based on program needs. The committee meetings will be held on Monday afternoons from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the E.J. McClendon Educational Center in Plymouth. We ask our members to provide a three-year commitment. The committee is advisory in nature and is responsible for helping to oversee the district’s reproductive health program.
Please complete and return the Sex Education Advisory Committee Application (PDF) if you are interested in participating in this exciting district committee. The application contains additional information for the applicant about committee responsibilities.
If you have any questions, please email Chief Academic Officer Beth Rayl at beth.rayl@pccsk12.com.
