Letter to Summer Camp Families:

June 8, 2020

P-CCS Summer Camp Families:

We were hoping to move forward with our summer camp program this summer, but to ensure the health and safety of all students and families there will be a delay for this year’s program. Although Michigan’s ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe Order’ has been lifted, we are unable to provide you with a date when camp will begin at this time, as our team is still evaluating how to provide a safe and fun summer camp experience for all students. Camp will not start on June 17 as previously planned.

With the recent changes in the ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ Executive Order by the State, we are reviewing programs and procedures that could allow us to open an experience for our families later this summer. We will let you know as soon as possible once a timeline and plan is confirmed.

Camp could look very different this summer if it is held. There will likely be no field trips, no outside people coming in to camp to do presentations, and no inter-mingling of students in rooms.

We will keep you posted on any other updates about the program.

Stay healthy and stay safe!

Lisa Trucks

P-CCS Extended Day Coordinator

The Extended Day office and programs will be closed during the mandated school closure.  Please feel free to email the extended day mailbox, as we will continue to check email during this time.

2020-21 New Family Registration:
We will reschedule dates for 2020-21 registration as soon as possible. Please refer to the district updates for future information on this topic.

At this time we are not taking any new registrations.
