25 P-CCS Students Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists 2025

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) is proud to announce that 25 seniors from Plymouth-Canton Educational Park (P-CEP) have been named Semifinalists in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

These academically talented students now have the opportunity to advance in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, valued at nearly $26 million, which will be awarded in spring and summer 2026.

The students qualified for the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). Their scores on the exam place them among the top one percent of high school seniors nationwide.

  • Salem High School: Deenah Ahmed, Jaden Ding, Vedanth Subramanya Kondur, Benjamin Lievense, Ruhan Patel, Joshua Sevener, Riley Silverman, Misha Srinivasan, Parker A. Szymczak, Andrew Tai

“I am so proud to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists,” said Dr. Monica Merritt, P-CCS Superintendent of Schools. “Their hard work and academic success make them truly deserving of this honor, and I wish them the very best as they move forward in the competition.”
