Chris Hammond is going back to where it all started for him. The longtime Farrand Elementary School teacher, who has spent most of the past two years as the Student Support Coordinator at Bentley Elementary, will return to Farrand as its new principal.
Hammond joined P-CCS as a third-grade teacher at Farrand Elementary shortly after graduating from college in 2002. During his time at Farrand, he continued his education at Eastern Michigan University, earning a Master of Arts in Reading. He had previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from EMU.
But Hammond didn’t stop there. He continued to build his academic credentials, earning an Educational Specialist degree from Western Michigan University.
