GALLIMORE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NAMED MICHIGAN’S BEST FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR BY U.S NEWS AND WORLD REPORT
CANTON, MI — Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) is once again celebrating the outstanding achievements of students, teachers, and staff at Gallimore Elementary School, which has been named Michigan’s top elementary school for the third year in a row by U.S. News & World Report.
The U.S. News & World Report Best Schools rankings are widely recognized as the standard for evaluating educational excellence. The rankings assess public elementary schools across several key factors, including:

Test scores in the context of socioeconomic demographics
“This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our students, teachers, and staff at Gallimore Elementary,” P-CCS Superintendent Dr. Monica L. Merritt said. “This is really a celebration for our entire district because students from every elementary school in our district are represented at Gallimore. I’m also so proud that Gallimore has collected this honor for the third year in a row.”
Gallimore Elementary is home to P-CCS' Talented and Gifted (TAG) program and fosters a diverse, multilingual environment that supports a range of learning needs. As part of the U.S. News evaluation, Gallimore reported 100% proficiency in both reading and math.
