P-CCS High Schools Ranked Among Michigan, Nation’s Best

P-CCS High Schools Ranked Among Michigan, Nation’s Best

All Three P-CEP Schools Shine in 2026 U.S News and World Report Rankings

CANTON, MI – Plymouth-Canton Community Schools’ commitment to preparing students for success in college, careers and life after graduation has once again earned statewide and national recognition, after all three Plymouth-Canton Educational Park (P-CEP) high schools excelled in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best High Schools rankings.

Canton, Plymouth and Salem high schools—all located together on P-CCS’s unique 305-acre P-CEP campus—ranked among the top 40 public high schools in Michigan and the top five percent of more than 27,000 high schools U.S. News and World Report reviewed nationwide.

All three schools were also ranked among the top 400 high schools in the nation for STEM education, highlighting the strength of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics opportunities available to P-CEP students.

“P-CEP offers students something truly special: the opportunity to learn on one shared campus with access to an extraordinary range of courses, programs and experiences,” said P-CCS Executive Director of High School Education Joseph Greene. “This recognition reflects the passion our educators bring to their classrooms and the hard work our students put in every day. Most importantly, it shows that P-CEP is preparing students not only to succeed in college and their careers, but also to become confident, capable people who are ready for whatever their future holds.”

The U.S. News & World Report rankings evaluate public high schools using several measures of student achievement and academic opportunity, including:

  • College readiness
  • Access to college-level coursework
  • Performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams
  • State assessment scores and proficiency rates
  • Underserved student performance
  • Graduation rates

The recognition reflects what sets the P-CEP experience apart: rigorous academics, innovative programs and an unmatched variety of opportunities available across one shared campus. Together, these experiences allow students to explore their interests, challenge themselves and develop the skills they will need to thrive in today’s ever-changing world.
