P-CCS Receives Bosch Community Fund Grant
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) is proud to announce that the district has been awarded a $47,135 grant from the Bosch Community Fund, which will help expand hands-on STEM learning opportunities for students across the district.
The grant further strengthens a longstanding collaboration between Bosch and P-CCS. Grant funds will be used to help expand robotics and STEM programming across the district, including elementary library curriculum integration, innovation programming, student field trips to the district’s Orsa Hub, and professional learning opportunities for teachers. These initiatives incorporate a range of modern robotics platforms and technologies, providing students with hands-on experience in programming, automation, and real-world engineering applications aligned with today’s evolving technology landscape.
“All of us at P-CCS are truly grateful to the Bosch Community Fund for their generous support of P-CCS through this grant,” said P-CCS Superintendent of Schools Dr. Monica Merritt. “Our collaboration with Bosch continues to create meaningful opportunities for students to explore STEM fields, develop future-ready skills, and engage in innovative learning experiences that prepare them for tomorrow’s workforce.”
For decades, Bosch has supported P-CCS students and educators through volunteerism, STEM education initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and funding grants via the Bosch Community Fund. Bosch engineers and professionals have worked alongside students and staff in classrooms and on district-wide innovation programs, helping inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and leaders.
Bosch team members have also played an important role in mentoring students through programs such as Lightning Robotics, where students gain real-world experience in engineering, teamwork, and critical thinking, connecting classroom learning to future careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
With this grant, the Bosch Community Fund has provided more than $440,000 in direct support to Plymouth-Canton Community Schools since 2012, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to advancing STEM education and workforce readiness in the community.
