PLYMOUTH-CANTON COMMUNITY SCHOOLS TO HOST FIFTH ANNUAL MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR APRIL 25
PLYMOUTH, MI – Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) is proud to announce the return of its popular Mental Health and Wellness Fair, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, in downtown Plymouth’s Kellogg Park.
This free, family-friendly event supports the district’s mission to serve students and families both in and out of the classroom. The fair aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health while connecting guests with valuable health and wellness resources in an interactive, welcoming, and engaging environment.
The event will feature more than 150 booths focused on mental health and overall wellness. Families can explore the fair’s “Creation Station,” which will offer a variety of hands-on activities, including calming jars, mindful coloring, soothing stones, scent sachets, kindness tokens, worry monsters, and friendship braids. Additional attractions will include chair massages, therapy dogs, a “walk through the human brain,” healing with horses, a Family Fun Zone, inflatables, a photo booth, and face painting.
The day will also include special performances by Rosco the Clown and Anthony Grupido, a Michigan-based magician and mental health advocate. Grupido will present a short demonstration centered on themes of hope, resilience, and mental wellness.
“At Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, we make mental health a priority because we know it directly affects how students learn, connect, cope, and function every day,” said P-CCS Psychologist and Mental Health Manager Kathy Grodus. “We want our students and families to know they are supported, valued, and never alone. This fair is a celebration of community, connection, and the importance of mental health for every child and family.”
The event is presented in part by Title Sponsor Henry Ford Health, along with Premier Sponsors Verita Telecommunications, The Michael Anthony Falsetti Foundation, Michigan Educational Credit Union, and the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth.
