Farrand Elementary Back to School News and Information for School year 2019 - 2020
Our open house is WEDNESDAY, August 28, 2019 from 5:30 p.m.7:00 p.m. You and your child will be able to meet the teacher, explore the classroom, and begin to figure out which friendships will emerge for this school year.
The first day of school will be Tuesday, September 3, 2019. School will be in session only in the morning on this first day back. HALF-DAY TIME: 8:48 a.m. to 11:53 a.m.
Teachers have created a list of SUGGESTED school supplies for the fall. You can access these lists by clicking on the attachment link below. These supplies are optional, but we encourage you to purchase them for your child. It might be easier for you to buy them sometime during the summer instead of waiting until just before school starts. Please note that we have included copy paper on each grade level’s supply list. If you could include a ream in your shopping cart when you are buying supplies, this would be greatly appreciated

Look for additional website updates from the school office in MID-AUGUST.
Bus information will be mailed to your home by the District’s transportation office in late August and will also be available on our website about the same time.

Plymouth - Canton uses an emergency call system to contact parents. If your child is absent from school you will be notified by this system.

July hours vary so please call the office for an appointment at 734-582-6900. August hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m, but please call first to make sure that the office isn't closed due to vacation days or meetings outside of the building.
