With all P-CCS schools closed today (Thursday, February 27), we have confirmed plans for after-school activities and athletics for this afternoon / evening:

  • All P-CCS Community Education programs are canceled.

  • All elementary and middle school after-school events, athletics competitions, and practices are canceled.


For P-CEP:

  • Select competitions and practices will be held as scheduled. Individual teams will receive communication from their respective Coaches and/or Assistant Principals for Athletics and Activities with updates on today’s schedule.

Summer Hours

The Miller Elementary office will reopen for normal business hours (8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) on August 12, 2019

Class Lists

Class lists will be posted August 27, 2019 by 4 p.m.  on the windows at the front of the school.  Teacher assignments will also be available through the MiStar parent portal.

First Day of School

Tuesday, September 3, 2019  is the first day of school for students.  It is a half-day.  Our first bell rings at 8:43 a.m. and students should be in their seats and ready for instruction beginning at 8:48 AM.  Our dismissal time on a half day is 11:53 a.m. for all students.

When K-1 students arrive at school, they should form a line outside of their exterior classroom door. Miller Staff members will be outside to assist students before the first bell rings.  2nd-5th grade students should line up at their designated spot on the  basketball courts. These entrances are labeled with teacher names on them so that students can find their line up spot.  Teachers will invite students into the classroom at 8:43 AM.  Students should arrive no earlier than 8:30 AM.   

Lunch/Breakfast Program

Families interested in purchasing breakfast/lunch for their child should refer to the district Food and Nutrition Page for menus and prices. Families who are eligible for free/reduced breakfast/lunch benefits should download the application and drop it by the school cafeteria. Forms can also be picked up in the Miller School Office.

Bus Information

Bus information will be mailed to your home by the Transportation Department in late August.
