Pioneer Middle School Back to School News and Information
The office will be open for the 2020/21 school year beginning: Wednesday, August 5th.
The office will be closed from time to time during summer hours, please call before you come in 734-416-2770. Our general summer office hours are 7:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Schedule pick-up and school picture times are as follows:
You must complete the Back to School Registration Update for your student through the Mistar parent portal prior to schedule pick-up. (Beginning , 2020)
- 7th grade: Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 8:30-11:00 am
- 8th grade: Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 12:30-3:00 pm
- 6th grade: Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 1:00-3:30 pm
- Band Mtg. for 6th. grade parents 1:00-2:00 pm
Where Everyone Belongs (WEB) 6th Grade Orientation
WEB Orientation, for all 6th grade students, will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 (9:00-Noon). This is a student only event and a great opportunity for them to get comfortable with their new school .
Transportation will be provided from your home elementary school between 8:15-8:30 am and returning between 12:25-12:40 pm. You may also drop off and pick up your student.
Immunizations and Medication
Please visit our Health & Safety Page for information regarding new immunization guidelines for the 2020-2021 school year. Students must be up to date with their immunizations to start school on the first day. Medication forms and information about medication kept at school or for self-carry can be found on the left banner on this page also.

Open House/Curriculum Night
Curriculum Night will be held on Thursday, September , from 6 - 7:30 pm. Because of our large student population, we ask that only parents attend. No siblings or other family members, please.
Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 - Cross Country practice begins after school for all interested 6th, 7th, & 8th graders. Students MUST have a current physical on file (dated after April 15, 2020) in order to practice.

These supplies are basic recommendations, not required. 6th grade teams will hand out supply lists at schedule pick up and 7th & 8th grade teachers will explain their specific requirements during the first week of school.
Paper-(1"-2" Binder filled and a spiral notebook), Index Cards, Glue Sticks, Ruler, Pocket Folders, Composition Notebook, Highlighters, #2 Pencils, Pens, Colored Pencils & Erasers, Box of tissue for Homeroom.
