School Boundary Maps and Resources

The Interactive Boundary Map allows you to view the boundaries for individual P-CCS elementary and middle schools.

Canton Township includes three school districts:

• Plymouth-Canton Community Schools

• Wayne-Westland Schools
• Van Buren Schools

High School Attendance:

• High school students are randomly assigned to one of the three P-CEP high schools: Canton, Plymouth, or Salem.
• Starkweather Academy is an alternative high school and is not randomly assigned.

Class Size Guidelines

P-CCS strives to maintain optimal learning environments by following the district’s class size parameters:

• Kindergarten – 2nd Grade: 26 students

• 3rd Grade: 29 students

• 4th & 5th Grade: 30 students

• Middle School: 30.25 students

• High School: 31 students

Beginning with the 2009–10 school year, the Board of Education authorized flexibility to add one additional elementary student per grade level when necessary to accommodate enrollment needs.

These guidelines help ensure that each student receives high-quality instruction and meaningful engagement in every classroom.
