Hal Heard III leads the district’s high school education programs, ensuring that all students have access to high-quality learning experiences that prepare them for college, careers, and life beyond graduation. Committed to fostering academic excellence, equity, and student success, Mr. Heard oversees the district’s comprehensive high school programs, specialized academies, and innovative learning pathways.
Mr. Heard’s responsibilities include supporting high school principals, assistant principals, and academic leaders, as well as overseeing curriculum development, classroom instruction, and student services. He plays a key role in initiatives such as career and technical education, advanced placement and dual enrollment opportunities, and student leadership development. Additionally, he works closely with staff, families, and community partners to ensure that all students receive the guidance and resources needed to thrive in high school and beyond.
